What is Converthy?
Converthy is a file conversion and manipulation platform designed to make common tasks faster, simpler, and more private.
Whenever technically possible, processing takes place directly in the user's browser. This means compatible operations can be performed without sending the file to a remote server.
Privacy by design
Converthy's architecture follows a client-first approach: local processing is prioritized before any cloud-based alternative.
In the tools currently available, compatible image conversions are performed locally in the browser. The selected file does not need to be sent to Converthy's servers for these conversions to be completed.
How the project evolves
Converthy is under continuous development. New formats, tools, and processing methods may be added gradually as the platform evolves.
When an operation cannot be performed appropriately in the browser, the platform may use cloud processing explicitly and under specific security, privacy, and retention policies.
